JMS Senior Living owns and operates 8 skilled nursing facilities throughout Missouri. Our company was founded as a construction company that, in the 1960s, started to build nursing homes for its customers. In 1966, we built our first facility that we owned and operated. Since then we have prided ourselves on providing extraordinary care for residents, working with families to exceed expectations and providing a quality workplace for employees ever since.
As our company transitions to the third generation of Juckette ownership, we are excited about the upcoming changes and innovation and are committed to providing industry-leading service and reinvesting into our facilities and our staff.
In September 2014 the Juckette family added Ben Scheulen, CEO, and Heather Bax, Clinical Director, to our staff to help bring necessary change to our facilities. They brought with them years of long-term care expertise and have added excellent staff at the management level to provide the support the facilities need.
In the coming months, improvements and renovations will be made to our facilities. In 2015, we upgraded our computer systems with the latest state-of-the-art technology and will be implementing new programs to help our staff track the care of residents. We will be a leader in electronic charting and long-term caregiving in the State of Missouri.
With the needs and of our staff and residents in mind, major internal and structural changes are coming to each of our facilities as we expand and remodel. We will be focusing on cosmetic changes to common areas and resident rooms, improving our therapy and kitchen spaces, updating or installing new physical plant systems where necessary and creating useful space for our residents, their families and our staff.
